That's a nice manip, you've blended the wings in very well. However, the horse's wings appears to run perpendicular to the horse's spine I think it might look a little more natural if the wings were parallele. I realize this means you'd probably need a different source image. Just a comment.

Either way it's awesome and probably better than what I could do.

Personally, I have to contridict what CaliburlessSoul said about the wings; they are flared - this is the position of the wings, and personally, the horse could be trying to take off, which leads to a problem. If the horse is trying to take off, will those wings carry a 1200 pound animal? They seem a bit small, but then again, i'm in favor of large, glorious wings. For I we know, this could be an immature equine that isn't yet done growing! I would have placed them a little farther forward, and created a joint that connects to the main shoulder muscle. I think your manipulations would really benefit if you looked at the anatomy and muscle structure of horses and birds. This way you can have reasearch to back up a logical place where the wings can join to the body. Great source image choices, and overall, a stunning image! A job well done.

thanks for the critiqing =] This was the firsty manipulation that i ever did, and i seem to be having trouble with finding good wing images, so i do the best i can on that part. I really agree on how i should study up on the anatomy of these amazing animals. Thanks again Shatter
